THE PIAGGIO GROUP

The Piaggio Group is the largest European manufacturer of two-wheeled motor vehicles and one of the world's leaders in its sector. The Group is also a major international player in the 3 and 4 wheeler commercial vehicle market.

Established in 1884 by Rinaldo Piaggio, since 2003 the Piaggio Group is controlled by Immsi S.p.A., an industrial holding listed on the Italian stock exchange and headed by Chairman Roberto Colaninno.

The Piaggio Group has been listed on the Italian stock exchange since 2006.

Our market representation strategy is to partner with qualified dealer candidates located in selected markets that are currently under-served by our existing dealer network. Each authorized Piaggio dealer operates under a motor vehicle dealership sales and service agreement with Piaggio Group Americas Inc. to retail the world’s finest motorcycles and motor scooters and accessories available today.
 
SELECTION CRITERIA
 
There are several important qualifying factors to be considered for a new dealership, including management, capital and facility. Each new dealer applicant must possess a strong passion for our Products, a business background, financial capability and a desire to establish a dealership in a location that is highly ranked in our market studies.
