Attic Systems

The vast majority of the 80+ million homeowners in America suffer from serious comfort and health issues, and waste money in their homes because of 3 major problems in their attics:

  1. Attics insulated without all the gaps and penetrations in attic floors getting air sealed first. The air homeowners paid to heat in winter rises to the top of the home and leaks into ventilated attics and is lost to the outside. This makes it difficult to keep homes warm in the winter, increasing heating bills because systems must run longer to keep homeowners comfortable.
  2. Not enough insulation on attic floors. There isn’t enough insulation to resist the movement of heat from super-hot, 130 degree+ attics in summer into the living areas of the home, causing air conditioners to run longer, increasing homeowner electricity costs.
  3. Leaky, under-insulation ductwork placed in attics. These systems are designed to produce and distribute a certain amount and temperature of air to heat and cool homes. Unfortunately, up to 47% of the air homeowners paid to heat or cool can be lost through holes, gaps and poor connections in ductwork. These gaps can allow dust and other contaminants from the attic to be distributed through the ducts into the home, which can make homeowners sick.

Attic Systems is an opportunity for owners of contracting businesses (HVAC, Roofing, Pest Control) doing work related to attics, to add a profitable, easy to sell offering to their customers. Our dealers are trained and certified to market, sell and install attic and duct air sealing and insulation work to fix homes suffering comfort, health and energy wasting issues. In addition, our dealers receive:

  • Unlimited training and support
  • Proven lead generation strategies
  • A proven sales process to help homeowners buy
  • Sales software to price, present and close first-call sales at the kitchen table
  • Access to our finance program,
  • Optional participation in our internet lead program
  • Management and leadership training

Founded by Larry Janesky, now with over 35 years of experience in home improvement, Attic Systems is a part of Contractor Nation, with industry leading contractor dealer networks in 5 markets; Basement Waterproofing (1987), Crawl Space Retrofits (1999), Basement Finishing (2005), Foundation Structural Repair (2007) and Home Performance (2009). Everything we share with our dealers has been tested and refined in our $35 million dollar local home improvement company. We do this work every day! We’ve made all the mistakes so you don’t have to!

These 3 problems create a tremendous opportunity for contractors with people doing work in attics. You are in the best position to add $5,000, or more to your average jobs by offering air sealing and insulation products and services to the jobs you’re currently selling and installing. Your customers are buying insulation now! So it might as well be you that helps them buy the right job, installed the correct way!
