When Nicole Chaudry moved to the U.S. from Europe and became a mother, she was surprised by what she couldn’t find: a truly immersive multilingual school that could offer her son the rich cultural foundation she had grown up with.

“I was looking for a place where my son could be brought up multilingual, and I didn’t find anything,” she recalled. “So I started looking into what it would take to build that kind of school myself.”

Chaudry had the business acumen – her background was in corporate HR – and quickly dove into early childhood education, eventually earning her degree and opening the first WorldKids® School. What began as a personal project soon became a movement.

“From day one, we were busy. We couldn’t even serve all the siblings,” said Chaudry. “The demand was there. We just kept growing.”

Today, WorldKids School offers franchisees a chance to carry that mission forward. More than a preschool, it’s a deeply enriching experience for kids and families – one that builds empathy, adaptability and early global fluency through immersive language instruction and mixed-age classrooms inspired by Montessori philosophies.

“It changes the path for children, their brain development, how they adapt to environments, even how they connect with others when they travel,” said Chaudry. “I’ve had parents tell me their child comes home speaking only Spanish, and now they want to take adult classes just to keep up!”

Each WorldKids School location offers full language immersion in either Spanish or Mandarin Chinese, two of the most widely spoken and culturally significant languages in the world. These aren’t just enrichment classes; children spend their days immersed in the target language, absorbing vocabulary and structure naturally through play, music, stories and routines.

“It’s like music for the brain,” explained Chaudry. “It strengthens cognitive flexibility, builds empathy and gives kids a real head start in a global world.”

The program has proven powerful not only for the children but for the parents and educators who help run it. Many WorldKids School franchisees were once parents or teachers who saw the impact firsthand and wanted to bring it to their own communities.

“They all have one thing in common,” said Chaudry. “They want to build something that lasts, something that makes an impact in the world and leaves a legacy.”

As a franchise opportunity, WorldKids School is as practical as it is personal. Franchisees receive hands-on training at corporate schools as well as ongoing support in real estate, HR, operations, marketing, business planning and financials. Each department even has its own dedicated expert.

“We offer support at every stage: site selection, pre-opening, post-opening and beyond,” said Chaudry. “And we do weekly checkpoints just to touch base. We’re growing, and we want to grow the right way with the right people.”

WorldKids School franchisees operate in a high-demand category, early childhood education, with a differentiated model and open territory availability in major markets. The average unit grosses between $2 million and $3 million annually for the most popular school size.

Still, it all comes back to providing high-quality education for the kids.

“This is not something you do for just a year or two,” Chaudry said. “You’re shaping lives. You’re shaping futures.”
