A Dedication to Helping People Leads Three Local Women to Open A Brightway Insurance Agency in Melbourne

Brightway, The A.L.L. Agency Opens for Business Monday, May 18

JACKSONVILLE, FLA. (May 14, 2015)—Selling insurance in Dad’s agency at 16, working in law enforcement and being there to raise the children to make sure they got their lives started off on the right foot. That’s what honed Amber Curtis, Lisa McCoy and Lisa Arnold’s desires to help people.

Now, in the newest chapter of their lives, they’re going to help people in and around Melbourne make sure they have the insurance coverages they need at prices they want in their Brightway Insurance Agency, The A.L.L. Agency, opening on Monday, May 18 at 4320 South Babcock Street, Suite 102.

Brightway is a national property/casualty insurance retailer selling through a network of franchised independent agencies throughout the country. Including the soon-to-open A.L.L. Agency in Melbourne, the company now has 118 offices in ten states.

Most recently, Curtis and Arnold worked at an insurance agency locally. “We loved to help people, but the reality was that we offered insurance for just one company. As Brightway owners, we will have access to more than 100 companies so we can help them now and throughout their lives,” Arnold said.

McCoy moved to Melbourne from South Carolina to join Curtis and Arnold in the business venture. “I’ve been involved in small businesses all my life and, in South Carolina, I worked with law enforcement,” said McCoy. “I look forward to blending my business experience with my problem-solving skills to help people as a Brightway agent.”

“We are very happy to have three women Agency Owners in Melbourne,” said Talman Howard, president, Brightway. “Their experiences and their drive, combined with the support the Brightway system provides them, help to ensure their success.”

Arnold, a Melbourne native who is very involved in the community, will lead the agency’s local charitable efforts, continuing her work with organizations like Granddaughter’s Promise and the Children’s Hunger Project. The A.L.L. Agency owners will also be very involved with the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce.

“We are very excited to be opening our agency and invite everyone to stop by. We sell Home, Flood, Auto, Umbrella and Life insurance and can meet your needs, whatever they are,” said McCoy.

Brightway independent agents have access to more insurance companies than independent agents and focus strictly on selling and growing their books of business, while service, carrier relationships and technology are handled centrally. As a result, Brightway agents consistently sell more new personal lines business than do traditional independent agents.

Brightway began franchising operations in 2008, is privately owned and is the seventh largest Personal Lines independent insurance agency in the U.S.  In 2014, the company was named a Top 500 Franchise by Entrepreneur magazine for the second year in a row, the 9th Best Franchise with Less Than $150,000 in Entry Costs by Forbes, and the company was also named to Florida’s Fast 100 by Florida Business Journals for the second year in a row.
