Newest Brightway Agency Owner Brings Entrepreneurial Spirit to Miami Lakes

JACKSONVILLE, FLA. (November 12, 2015)— Brightway, The Patrick James Agency, will open at 5911 NW 173rd Drive, Unit 7 in Miami Lakes on Monday, November 16. The agency’s owner, Patrick James, is excited about this latest move in a long, successful insurance career.  James began working in the industry at a young age, and by the age of 21, he owned his own Allstate Insurance agency in North Miami Beach.

Brightway is a national property/casualty insurance retailer selling through a network of franchised independent agencies throughout the country.

While James owned an agency that sold policies for one company, he recognized the need consumers have for choice in order to best meet their diverse insurance needs.  He considered becoming an independent agent, where he could represent about 10 companies. Instead, he chose to become a Brightway agent, where he and his customers will have access to more than 100 insurance companies, allowing them to work together to fully customize their insurance solutions to their unique needs.

“Miami is my hometown. I’m not opening an insurance agency to sell insurance. I’m opening a Brightway agency to provide my friends and neighbors with the peace of mind that comes from knowing you, your family and your possessions are fully protected,” said James.  

Brightway independent agents have access to more insurance companies than independent agents and focus strictly on selling and growing their books of business, while service, carrier relationships and technology are handled centrally.
