In 2003 Edge Publishing started as Money in the Mail in Cottonwood, AZ when an entrepreneur, Randy Spate wanted a better way for local businesses to reach customers affordably and help their business grow. With over 20 years of experience in virtually every type of print media advertising, Randy found that Direct Mail is the best option for Return On Investment (R.O. I.) Randy knew that if a business owner was making money from their advertising they would continue advertising with him every month, without the need for long term contracts. This has been proven to be true with most of the Money in the Mail clients consistently advertising year after year. Willie Lass who has many years in sales and management, himself an entrepreneur went to work for Randy in 2009. Willie said: “Here we are in the middle of one of this Country’s worst recessions and our clients are sharing how well our coupon magazine is working and helping them survive and grow by bringing new customers and more money than anything they had previously done.” Willie was so impressed with this he purchased two territories from Randy in 2011 and both territories grew to where we are now publishing two 64 page books monthly mailing to almost 80,000 addresses. Randy sold his other two territories and retired. Mr. Lass purchased the Money in the Mail rights and began Franchising in 2016, changing the name to Edge Publishing for a more national appeal. When you join the Edge Publishing team as a franchise owner, you will receive outstanding support in a number of different exciting areas:
- Operational Support

- 2 weeks of training at the Edge Publishing HQ in Arizona beginning approximately 4 weeks before the franchise is scheduled to open for business
- 1 week of training at your location to get your business started

When you join the Edge Publishing team you have the choice of a new startup business or you can convert your current mailer to be under the Edge Publishing umbrella. When you join the Edge Publishing team you will be given an exclusive territory of approximately 35,000-40,000 addresses supporting 3,500 to 5,000 business addresses to develop.
