Potatopia, the spud-centric restaurant in the West Village, is now open for biz. Here are five things you need to know about it.

1. This is the second outpost, and the first New York location of the takeout spot, which founder Allen Dikker started at a mall in Edison, New Jersey.

2. The Potatopia menu features four different potato varietals (kennebec, russet, red bliss and jumbo yam) in 10 different styles - smashed, skin, baked regular, baked sweet, curly, shoestring, sweet potato crinkle, potato au gratin, mashed pie and Potatopia’s take on a Shepherd’s pie.

3. Your potato can be topped with veggies, proteins (think fancy stuff like a grass-fed steak, free-range chicken, shrimp and wood-smoked bacon). And - of course - a multitude of cheese options. All combinations can be one-upped by Dikker’s 14 housemade sauces, like garlic aïoli, truffle, or savory bacon and curry.

4. The West Village location will feature unique menu items, including the breakfast special named the “Lower East Sider,” with shoestring fries, scallion, house salt, lox, cilantro and sour cream.

5. Super fan? A range of Potatopia merchandise, from t-shirts to newborn onesies will be available for purchase.
