Pop-up shop-on-wheels locations are staffed with one to two technicians and a van. Locations are secured in areas surrounded by auto dealerships and collision shops. These neighborhood repair centers target higher-end wholesale and retail consumers.

The person doing the work should have good mechanical skills and if they have a background in painting it can be a plus. We often hire people that have body shop experience but no previous experience is required. Often the owners learn to do the work in an effort to better manage their crews. Also important for all involved are having good customer service skills.

Training

Training in some cases can be done at the Franchisees location. Typically we train a Franchise for 2 weeks and come to their city for a week to launch the business. Training includes the owner and any employees and covers every aspect of the business and how to make a safe and quality wheel repair or wheel color change.
