In 1947 Don and Katy Kilwin opened a small shoppe in the popular resort town of Petoskey, Michigan. Soon Kilwin’s established a reputation for original recipes, quality products and superior customer service. This reputation comes only from time, proven business systems, and effective procedures. Since 1995, Kilwin’s current owners, Don and Robin McCarty have structured a franchise program that combines the best of the original Kilwin’s stores with modern business practices.

Kilwin’s shoppes offer customers an impressive selection of our original recipe confections and ice cream, all in an enjoyable, service- oriented atmosphere. Many of our products are made on site in copper kettles and our fudges are paddled on marble tables.
